Percaye ke tak percaye ade topic ni dalam kursus Outdoor??Kena percaya jugak sebab memang ade pon..first aid ni penting tak kira la siape pon kite ni..student ke,cikgu ke,ibu tunggal sekali pun,pada aku harus memiliki basic utk first aid ni..bayangkan lah bila satu hari nanti orang yang kite sayang berada dalam keadaan yang memerlukan kite untuk lakukan rawatan kecemasan ni..ape perasaan kite kalau kite tak mampu melakukannya dan menyebabkan orang tu meninggalkan kite?? fikir-fikirkanlah..
So,bagi yang tak ade basic first aid ni,bagus la kalo korang bace entry ni,at least korang tau something..dan bagi yang dah tau,betul kan lah sekiranya ade kekhilafan..check it out..(:
Definition Of First Aid: The first people on the scene, the first Aider, can initiate many life-saving procedures :
- Airway & respiratory intervention
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Bleeding Control
- Special wound care
- Stabilization of spinal injuries
- Splinting of fractures
Definition of First Aid :
- First Aid is the immediate care given to a person who is injured or suddenly become ill.
- FA include recognize life-threatening conditions & taking effective action to keep the injured or ill person alive & in the best possible condition untill medical treatment can be obtained.
- First Aid does not replace the physician,nurse,or paramedic.
- Primary principle of First Aid is to activate the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system in all cases of serious injury.
The principal aims to first aid are to:
- Recognize life threatening situations
- Activate the EMS system
- Supply artificial ventilation and circulation when needed
- Control bleeding
- Care for other life-threatening conditions
- Minimize further injury & complication
- Prevent infection
- make the victim as comfortable as possible

Dan ni pulak ade lah kegunaannye:
- Tweezers : Instrument used to remove fragments of a foreign body (usually splinters) accidentally introduced under the skin.
- Absorbent cotton : Absorbent white cotton containing no fatty or resinous substances; it is used to clean wounds.
- Elastic support bandage : Extensible fabric that is rolled around a limb to reduce an edema (swelling) or to secure a bandage or splint.
- Scissors : Instrument with two movable overlapping shanks having sharp inside edges; they are used for trimming and cutting.
- Antiseptic : Substance that kills pathogenic microorganisms on living tissue.
- First aid manual : Booklet describing how to treat common injuries and illnesses.
- Gauze roller bandage : Roll of extremely light, transparent cotton fabric used to make compresses or dress wounds.
- Adhesive bandage : Adhesive strip with a piece of gauze for dressing wounds.
- Cotton applicators : Stick whose ends are covered with cotton wadding; they are used to clean and disinfect wounds
- Sterile pad : Piece of sterilized gauze that is folded into several layers and used to dress wounds.
- Triangular bandage : Triangular piece of fabric used to dress wounds.
- Rubbing alcohol : Alcohol used to clean and disinfect skin or wounds after scarring.
- Splints : Small strips of wood, metal or plastic used to immobilize a limb that is fractured, sprained or dislocated.
- Aspirin : Salicylic acid tablet used to treat pain, fever and inflammation.
- Peroxide : Antiseptic used to clean and disinfect wounds.
- Adhesive tape : Sticky tape used to fasten bandages, compresses and other materials to a wound.
